Garcia and Associates has been providing high quality cultural resource services in the Western U.S. and throughout the Pacific Region since 1994.

Garcia and Associates’ cultural resources team is experienced in all aspects of the field, including but not limited to archaeological, paleontological, geoarchaeological, and architectural history assessments, California and National Register evaluations, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) spatial analysis and modeling, state and federal environmental permitting and compliance, Section 106 of NHPA and CEQA AB 52 Native American consultation, data recovery, and construction and mitigation monitoring.

GANDA has worked with a broad spectrum of clients in the public and private sector and with Native American tribes throughout the western United States and with representative stakeholders in the Pacific to address historic, ethnographic, and prehistoric archaeological resources.

Our principal investigators and project managers are acknowledged experts in their regions and all are Registered Professional Archaeologists who exceed the Secretary of the Interior’s professional qualification standards for archaeology and historic preservation. We have a long, successful history of working collaboratively with Native American and Hawaiian community members in support of proponent projects. Our goal is to provide clients with clear, actionable compliance pathways that respect the irreplaceable data value of archaeological resources as well as their high cultural importance to indigenous peoples. We can help you develop creative and successful cultural resources management and mitigation solutions for your project, no matter the size, scale, or sensitivity.
